Reunion in Ethiopia

The Ethiopia TBA Alumni held a re-union meeting on 23 October 2014 at the Environment and Coffee Forest Forum offices in Addis Ababa. The five alumni present were Bruktawit Abdu (Madagascar 2007), Tadesse Woldemariam (Kenya 1999); Kiros Woldegerima (Tanzania 2010); and Alemneh Amare and Hadis Tadele (Uganda 2012 and 2014). The meeting welcomed new members to the group, and resolved to improve the ETBA platform to bridge the conservation gap in Ethiopia and contribute to global biodiversity issues. Those present also shared their professional and academic progress since the TBA course.
