Training Conservation Leaders
TBA teachers are key to our success in capacity building. They bring an unrivalled depth and breadth of skills to deliver high-quality training, transferring skills to a new generation of conservationists.
The people we invite are not only expert in their specialist field, they are also great teachers who are enthusiastic and passionate about helping us achieve our aims.
By providing practical training and sharing their experiences, our teachers focus on helping participants to build skills and develop understanding, rather than simply accumulate factual information.
“There is so much ambition among the participants. From a teaching point of view, it doesn’t get much better.”
Dr Ashleigh Griffin
Royal Society University Research Fellow and University Lecturer, Department of Zoology, University of Oxford who has taught on TBA Scientific Writing Specialist Workshops in Rwanda, Ghana and Madagascar.
