The Kenyan TBA Alumni Association launched a new logo in January 2014, seven years after its formation. TBAAK has developed an image that demonstrates its diversity and partnership, as it incorporates the map of Kenya, the colours of the national flag and the TBA colours. Revealing the logo, the newly elected group’s chairperson, Herman Chege, said that TBAAK was “… still on its journey to realizing its long dream of creating a strong network for effective biodiversity research, conservation and management…This is just the beginning of many other great things to come…”.
Moving the Dial: How 19 West African Managers Are Restoring Regional Forest Landscapes
TBA brought together 19 restoration managers, from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, working in NGO’s, government, universities and the private sector to participate in a training course we designed to move the dial for restoration in West Africa. ‘Restoring Forest Landscapes: a training course for restoration manager’, hosted at Liberia’s Forestry training institute benefited from their long history of restoration programmes, training and outreach.
