The TBA is launching its first training programme in the Indo-Burma hotspot in April this year. Aimed at conservation organisations in the region, the programme combines learning based on TBA’s Virtual Learning Platform, an in-person master class in Vietnam, and mentoring.

The Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot is one of the most biologically important regions of the planet, supporting a wide variety of habitats. It has a remarkable level of endemic species, and is still revealing its biological treasures. That is why the TBA and its partners will be working together to give civil society organisations in the hotspot the tools and skills to enhance their conservation impact for the long term.

The training is divided in three modules which cover the fundamentals of Project development and fundraising; Communications; and Organisational management & strategic planning. We are looking for conservation organisations from the region who would like to strengthen their capacities to manage and lead organisations, design and develop projects, and deliver impactful communications.

We are currently seeking applications from organisations in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam to take part in this exciting programme. Click here for details.

Our programme is run in partnership with WildAct Vietnam, Living River Association (Thailand), the Myanmar Biodiversity and Nature Conservation Association, Wildlife Conservation Society Lao, NatureLife Cambodia and the Asian Species Action Partnership.

CEPF is a joint initiative of l’Agence Française de Développement, Conservation International, the European Union, the Global Environment Facility, the Government of Japan and the World Bank.
